Because at every once in a while one needs to read a space opera, I picked up Shards of Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold. All the elements of a very good space opera were present. The war is present and felt along with its effects on the main protagonist. I might have not fully bought the romance bits of it but all and all will definitely revisit this universe soon.

However, next I am going to visit the Discworld for the first time, starting from the book one.
