I work and write mostly in English and I still constantly think how I will never master it like I do master my native Finnish. Just wrote a brief friendly email with veiled legal threats (matter itself is rather benign but I need to hold my ground on principle) but that still could be considered constructive: I probably won’t be able to write anything like this in any other language than Finnish and it makes me both a bit sad and extremely motivated to study other languages.
