Completed two 📕 books this week: ”Yiddish Policemen’s Union” by Michael Chabon and ”The Responsibility Process: Unlocking Your Natural Ability to Live and Lead with Power” by Christopher Avery

First one is a celebrated alternative history hard-boiled detective story with fantasy elements. I had hard time getting into the book as I really don’t care for any kind of detective stories and hard-boiled in particular. But fantasy elements and rich world of Jewish diaspora in Alaska(!) more than makes up for the worn out alcoholic detective with an authority problem…(not to mention troubled relationship with ex-wife)

The other book probably requires a second read. It is a solid book about taking responsibility and how to build up skills to take responsibility and recognize and change your behaviour in situations you don’t. It presents a process and exercises I didn’t go through yet. I might
