Today we needed separate Russian and Finnish classes (see next post). My spouse is several years ahead of me and the absolute basics were not enough for her. My Russian lesson was more of the basics:

пожалуйста - Wiktionary - please, here you are - olkaa hyvä (as we see in the Finnish lesson of the day Finnish really doesn’t have direct equivalent of “please”. “Olkaa hyvä” is strictly only “here you are”)
