First month of Russian studies are behind for me. I just cooked something nice and asked:
“ты уже поел?“
“Did you already eat?”
“Söitkö sinä jo?”
ты уже + verb is an useful structure - you can ask about anything, whether it was done or not.
Words:
ты - you - sinä
уже - already - jo
поелпоесть - to eat - syödä
