I think (purely my head canon, no actual anything to support this) that while Finland is just another Nordic country in many other respects we always had a more limited range of cis/straight male roles. Scandinavia has wide variety of male entertainers that would stick out like a sore thumb here (think men of Abba in the 80’s). Sure we had some in the 80’s, but all of them grew up and look boring now. Or am I imagining things?
