I will collect all my readings from last few weeks in a single blog post when I am finished with “A Desolation Called Peace” by Arkady Martine, but I am just stunned how good this book is (note: 15 chapters in).
While I absolutely loved the first book of the series, it started slow. No such thing here, the quick pace from the end of the first one carrying over the midpoint of the second one at least. Sci-fi and building up communication with someone without shared language 👩🍳😘
