I can see how certain type of enterprise architects can do their work perfectly well without ever coding e.g. if your work is about enterprise data models or modelling business processes. But I can’t see anyone drawing up cloud plans to be effective without being subjected to day-to-day coding. Pretty sure your system won’t be optimal if, say, AWS Cognito is just a box you drag from toolbar to canvas and not something you need to fight every day
