Finished reading: Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick 📚. A classic sci-fi book better known for being the story Blade Runner is based on. I found the set-up and the theme of what counts as sentience interesting (but I’ve seen better treatments of this theme). Then again age of the book is starting to show, the romantic/sexual relationship between the main characters felt off and not very well justified (and frankly old fashioned).
I find it interesting what kind of things sci-fi can see and what they will miss. Hovering or flying cars, video telephony, but this this world still had phone operators, no text messages, and everything gets printed out.
