Finished reading: Solaris by Stanislaw Lem 📚. Finnish streamer YLE areena has the 1972 Soviet movie adaptation of the book available. I decided to do a book-movie double header this weekend. Book is a classic that is indeed worth the moniker. Yes, there are some extremely dated attitudes. Beyond that the suspense of the story holds extremely well throughout. The premise of a trying to communicate with non-human intelligence intrigues me and is, in my opinion, expressed beautifully by Lem. If you need to read 1960’s sci-fi classics, there are much worse options
