Currently reading: Machine Learning: New and Collected Stories by Hugh Howey 📚
As one would expect from collection of short stories: there are some good ones and then those that are completely forgettable. Picked this up to read the Silo short stories. Those had their moments but somehow I didn’t find the timelines converging so neatly satisfying. At least give better explanation why some events that could have been decades off each other still managed to co-incide randomly.
This audiobook came with commentary from the author. The same uneveness is the problem here – some are pretty illuminating but some just should have baked better into the actual story
